Pastor Tim returns from a 3 month sabbatical with a fitting message about the Sabbath. We are commanded by God (in Creation – prior to the Law) to rest, and using stories about David Green (of Hobby Lobby) and S. Truett Cathy (of Chic-Fil-A) and Moses shows how God blesses and provides for the honoring of His Word.
A Heart Like His: Stewardship Part 2
The Father longs to be in relationship with us. Even the covenant provision of tithes and offerings was designed to foster relationship both with Him and with one another. In the New Testament we enjoy an even higher standard because of the Holy Spirit’s redemptive work through the Lord Jesus.

A Heart Like His: Stewardship Part 1
God has given us richly all things to enjoy . Best of all He has given us Himself. A heart like His heart is one that is loving and giving; one that highly values relationship. Though God delights in blessing us, He never wants those blessings to interfere with our relationship with Him. The first in a three-part mini-series on Giving and Stewardship.
Leadership and Submission
If the concepts of leadership and submission are merely man’s ideas, we have no obligation to follow them. If, however, they are God’s idea, we have no right to ignore them. Because man has so often distorted the intent of God’s design we have often failed to avail ourselves of His life-giving principles. We should go God’s way with God’s heart.
Content and Confident
We live in a culture that often tries to convince me that who I am, and what I have, are not enough. It needs to be bigger, newer, or faster or we need to be smarter, stronger or richer. Sadly, none of these ever bring true contentment or confidence. Thankfully, because of Jesus we can be fully content and confident in this life and the next.
Marital Integrity and Sexual Purity
Marital and sexual failures occur when we feel there is a need inside of us that is not being satisfied. Sadly, our choice for immediate temporary relief can have eternal consequences. The story of Joseph provides us with insight in how to make the best choices.
Let Brotherly Love Continue
Hebrews Chapter 13 presents a practical plan for walking out our Christian life and ministry. Love for one another, rooted and grounded in the love of Christ Jesus, provides the only true foundation for this plan.
